For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord.
“They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

about fostering hope
There exists a people group present in our every day lives who are often unnoticed and forgotten. Who is this group? It is the foster care community, and it’s actually larger than you might think! While this group includes foster children, it also encompasses biological and foster parents as well as hard-working social workers.
Ever since Fostering Hope began in 2020, our vision has been to support the foster care community. We desire for each person we come into contact with to know there is a God who loves them, wants them to prosper and have a hope and a future. God’s plan for them is so much more than they could imagine, and we want to help them realize this.
To the one who’s excited, we want to celebrate and go through the next steps with you. To the one who is discouraged, we want to be a shoulder you can lean on. To the one who only sees limitation, we want to bring resources to support you on the journey.
Our Story
We are Bob and Bethany Angst and we have been foster parents since 2018. We have been blessed with an amazing support system around us and they are a major reason we are still fostering today.
In 2020, we wanted to do more for other people in the foster care community, so we started a foster ministry in our church called Fostering Hope. Through it, we want to be a support to biological parents, other foster parents, agency workers, and the kids in care. In 2022, God placed it on our hearts to take what Fostering Hope does for our local area and take it to other churches. We want to help other churches rise up and be the support we know they can be to the foster care community.
