Do you have a plan for 2013? Do you have areas in your life that you know need change? Do you see areas where there’s potential for growth? Are you sick and tired of feeling stuck year after year?
In the beginning days of the year, I sit down and evaluate where I am in my life and write out some goals for areas that I want to see growth in for the new year. I start with the most important areas of my life such as my: Faith-journey, Family, Physical health, as well as other various parts of my life that I want to see go to the “next level.” Some people call these New Year’s Resolutions. I simply call it a LIFE Plan.
I started thinking in these terms several years ago when at a Youth Pastor’s retreat we were taught how to write out a LIFE PLAN for our lives. Since then, this has been a great resource for growth in my life. I would love to see each of you have this same knowledge to help with your growth. Check out this article on how to write your own life plan. If you’ve been feeling stuck, you’ll be glad you did.
Let me encourage you with this growth nugget as you move into the new year. I Cor. 6:19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies.
May you have a new year full of life and growth!
